Welcome to our weekly product update. Each week, we highlight Briefcase’s latest features and AI improvements designed to make bookkeeping and accounting workflows simpler and more efficient. Here’s what’s new.

Release prepayment journals upfront

Need to release all prepayment journals at once for reporting? You can now release them upfront when publishing a prepayment. The default remains monthly releases.

HEIC file support

Upload HEIC files (iPhone images) directly to Briefcase via WhatsApp, email, or web upload.

Client upload URL deprecation

The legacy client upload URL feature will be removed on November 30, 2025. This only affects historical accounts, new accounts don't have this feature. Please migrate to WhatsApp upload.

Other things that we shipped

• View pending client invites in organization settings

• Mark supplier and bank statements as costs/sales for automated processing

• Client account order in dashboard now persists per device

• Autopilot learns faster when detecting new transaction patterns (new suppliers, category changes) and autopublishes sooner

• Mark transactions as expense claims directly from the transaction view
