Welcome to our weekly product update. Each week, we highlight Briefcase’s latest features and AI improvements designed to make bookkeeping and accounting workflows simpler and more efficient. Here’s what’s new.

Full line item splits

Briefcase now displays both views of your invoice data:

• VAT summary – line items grouped by VAT rate

• All line items – every item listed individually

Toggle between them with Show all line items.

Prepayments closing balance

Briefcase now displays the running balance of each individual prepayment on the prepayments tracker page, making it easier to identify what your total prepayments balance is made up from.

Prepayment CSV exports now include two tables. The first table shows the monthly amount expensed by each prepayment while the second table shows the monthly closing balance of each prepayment.
