Line item categorisation & grouping

We now categorise cost invoices at the line-item level. For invoices with fewer than 20 line items, each line item is categorised individually.

We’ve also improved our VAT rate and tracking category assignment on a line-item level.

Once categories are assigned, Briefcase intelligently groups line items based on your historical preferences. For example, some invoices work best as a single grouped entry, while others benefit from keeping items separate.

Autopilot stays safe and reliable. We only autopublish when we’re confident the transaction structure matches your historical patterns.
