Welcome to our weekly product update. Each week, we highlight Briefcase’s latest features and AI improvements designed to make bookkeeping and accounting workflows simpler and more efficient. Here’s what’s new.

Prepayments for QuickBooks

How it works

• Upload your invoices through any existing channel as usual (web upload, WhatsApp, or email forwarding)

• Briefcase will automatically detect if it's a prepayment

• Our AI will determine whether it's recurring or one-off and create an appropriate schedule

• We will automatically sync your prepayment journals with your QuickBooks Online account to keep your books up to date

• You'll be able to reverse or adjust prepayment periods as needed

• Track all your prepayments in the dedicated prepayment tracking screen
