Adding WhatsApp support

Welcome to our weekly product update. Each week, we highlight Briefcase’s latest features and AI improvements designed to make bookkeeping and accounting workflows simpler and more efficient. Here’s what’s new.

WhatsApp Support

We’ve just made uploading invoices and receipts even easier—now you can submit images or PDFs directly to Briefcase via WhatsApp!

How to get started

  1. Go to Organization Settings (the cog icon in the top-right corner).

  2. Enter your phone number to connect your account.

  3. Add Briefcase as a contact in your phone.

  4. Start using WhatsApp ðŸŽ‰

How it works

  • Send invoices or receipts as a WhatsApp message to the Briefcase business account.

  • If you have access to multiple companies, you’ll be prompted to choose which one to send documents to. You can customise this selection by marking certain companies as favourites within Briefcase.

  • If you or your clients only have one entity, the invoice is automatically processed—no extra steps needed.

  • Invoices are typically processed and ready for review within 60–90 seconds.

Give it a try and enjoy a faster, simpler way to manage your documents on the go.
